Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers Offer Free Program: Nutrition and Diet for Digestive Health

The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers in Whitehouse Station and Clinton are dedicated to providing health enhancement and disease prevention programs for the community. As part of their education series, the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers will offer: Nutrition and Diet for Digestive Health, on Tuesday, June 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Whitehouse Station.  

Many people today have problems with their digestive health, but what they do not know is that the culprit and solution can be found in the food and nutrients we put in our body. A healthy diet is one of the best ways to correct digestive issues, as well as prevent issues from arising in the future. Come to this program and learn about soluable fiber vs. insoluable fiber, complex vs. refined carbohydrates, the importance of fruits, vegetables and being hydrated, prebiotics and probiotics, maintaining a balanced healthy diet and including exercise in your daily routine. Nicole Schaldone, MS, RD, Gastroenterology Nutrition Specialist, will lead this informative presentation.  Bring your nutrition questions and get them answered by an expert.

This program is free and participants will receive a guest pass to be used at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers. To register for the program at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center in Whitehouse Station call 908-534-7600.  The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center in Whitehouse Station is located at 537 Rte. 22 East, Whitehouse Station.
